BISHOP'S STATEMENT CONCERNING THE SUPERNATURALITY OF THE MARIAN EVENT IN SAN NICOLAS

Twelve years as pastor in San Nicolas and having followed this Marian event with faith and responsibility, I know from the beginning have grown in the decision to admit to my diocese.

I worked in consultation with experts and witnesses and aware that the duty to monitor or intervene rests primarily with the local ordinary, I assume, as the bishops who preceded me, the decision to support, guide and testify about this event in San Nicolas.

I judged the fact according to two criteria: Positives and negatives and in both cases there were no errors.

I discerned on three specific criteria, namely:

Event Is naturally occurring? Can it be work of the enemy? Is it supernatural origin? And the answers to these questions left me sure that it is the real and positive fruit exceeding mere human action.

On the occasion of the Jubilee of Mercy of the pilgrims from the Diocese, I announce this valid decision for the flock which I guide and accompany with it the presentation of a book entitled "SPIRITUAL SCHOOL OF SANTA MARIA DEL ROSARIO DE SAN NICOLAS" highlighting the most important teachings in the messages she gives us for our commitment to everything he tells us because he is the culmination of revelation.

I promulgated it this Sunday, May 22 at the Mass for pilgrims from the Marian Shrine and celebrating this jubilee on the seventh anniversary of his coronation.

DECLARACION DEL OBISPO REFERIDA A LA SOBRENATURALIDAD DEL ACONTECIMIENTO MARIANO EN SAN NICOLÁS.

Al de la homilia Monseñor pronuncio las siguientes palabras:

Queridos Hermanos Obispos:

A doce años de pastoreo en San Nicolás y habiendo seguido con fe y responsabilidad el acontecimiento mariano, que conozco desde sus inicios he crecido en la decisión de reconocerlo para mi diócesis.

Trabajé en la consulta con peritos y testigos y consciente de que el deber de vigilar o intervenir compete ante todo al ordinario del lugar, asumo, como los Obispos que me precedieron, la decisión de apoyar, orientar y declarar acerca de esta manifestación en San Nicolás.
Juzgué el hecho según dos criterios: Positivos y negativos y en ambos casos no hubo ni hay errores.
Hice discernimiento sobre tres criterios particulares, a saber:

El Evento ¿Es de origen natural? ¿Puede ser obra del enemigo? ¿Es de origen sobrenatural? Y las respuestas a estos interrogantes me dejaron la certeza de que es real y positivo el fruto que supera la mera acción humana.

Con ocasión del Jubileo de la Misericordia de los peregrinos de la Diócesis, doy a conocer esta decisión válida para la grey que presido y la acompaño con la presentación de un libro titulado “LA ESCUELA ESPIRITUAL DE SANTA MARIA DEL ROSARIO DE SAN NICOLAS”, resaltando las enseñanzas más destacadas en los mensajes que ELLA nos ofrece para nuestra adhesión a todo lo que EL nos dice porque EL es el culmen de la revelación.
Lo promulgo este domingo 22 de Mayo en la misa de los peregrinos desde el Santuario Mariano y celebrando este Jubileo en el séptimo aniversario de su coronación.

Por lo tanto:

EN VIRTUD DE TODO LO AFIRMADO, Y COMO OBISPO DIOCESANO FACULTADO PARA ESTE TIPO DE PRONUNCIAMIENTO; MOTIVADO POR UN SENTIDO DE CONCIENCIA JUSTA, DECRETO CON CERTIDUMBRE MORAL, BUENA INTENCION Y ESPERANZA; CUMPLIENDO LOS REQUISITOS DEL DISCERNIMIENTO SUGERIDOS POR LA SANTA SEDE; BUSCANDO LA MAYOR GLORIA DE DIOS Y EL BIEN DE NUESTRA IGLESIA; INVOCANDO EL NOMBRE DE DIOS ALTISIMO, PADRE, HIJO Y ESPIRITU SANTO, EL NOMBRE DE MARIA DEL ROSARIO DE SAN NICOLAS, EL DE SU ESPOSO SAN JOSE, RECONOZCO EL CARÁCTER SOBRENATURAL DE LOS FELICES ACONTECIMIENTOS CON LOS QUE DIOS A TRAVES DE SU HIJA PREDILECTA, JESUS POR MEDIO DE SU SANTISIMA MADRE, EL ESPIRITU SANTO POR MEDIO DE SU DILECTA ESPOSA, HA QUERIDO MANIFESTARSE AMOROSAMENTE EN NUESTRA DIOCESIS.
FINALMENTE Y COMO LA SANTA MADRE LO HA PEDIDO IMPLORO AL CIELO EN NOMBRE DE TODA LA DIOCESIS, QUE SEA ELLA, POR SIEMRE LA REINA Y SEÑORA DE SAN NICOLAS DE LOS ARROYOS.
