Join Relevant Radio® and EWTN® television host and OSV author "Miracle Hunter" Michael O'Neill and Fr. John Broussard, CPM, rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help (the only approved Marian apparition site in the US) in exploring the miracles of France and Belgium!

We will travel to the famed site of Lourdes with its Marian apparitions and healing waters, the place where St. Margaret Mary Alocoque experienced visions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the location where the popular Miraculous Medal was supernaturally inspired, and the spots of the 20th century Vatican-recognized Marian apparitions of Belgium (Our Lady of Beauraing and Our Lady of Banneux). We will see other major Marian apparition sites like Our Lady of Hope (Pontmain) and Our Lady of the Green Scapular, the Eucharistic Miracles of Douai and Brussels, and the incorruptible bodies of St. Bernadette Soubirous in Nevers and St. Catherine Laboure in Paris. Daily Mass and spiritual reflections will be offered along the pilgrimage route.

Day 1 – DEPART USA – Today our pilgrimage begins! We depart New York or Chicago for France, on our transatlantic flight, aboard a wide-bodied jet. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft.

Friday, September 13

DAY 2 -– LOURDES - This afternoon we arrive in Lourdes. After checking into our hotel, walking distance from the grotto, we enjoy free time to acclimate to the time change. In the early evening, we join the Rosary and candlelight procession. Overnight and dinner at our hotel in Lourdes.

Saturday, September 14

DAY 3 -– LOURDES Today is a leisurely day in the special town of Lourdes. We will again celebrate Mass at the grotto, the very place where the Virgin appeared to Bernadette. We have the opportunity to experience the healing waters of the miraculous Lourdes spring and walk the stations of the cross.  In the early evening, we join the Rosary and candlelight procession. Overnight and dinner at our hotel in Lourdes.

Sunday, September 15

DAY 4 – PARAY LE MONIAL This morning, after breakfast, we journey north to Paray le Monial, known as the City of the Eucharist, and visit the site of the Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. Here we stop in the Chapel of the Visitation where she famously received the visions of the Sacred Heart. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in this region.

Monday, September 16

DAY 5 – NEVERS/PARIS Today we visit the convent of St. Gildard, where Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes spent the final 13 years of her life. Here we see her incorrupt body ept in a glass reliquary. We enjoy a guided tour of Nevers before continuing to Paris. As we drive into the Illuminated City, our first stop is Sacré Coeur, located at the summit of Montmartre, the highest point in Paris. The spectacular view of the city will take our breath away. We then tour her sights passing the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and traveling down the famous Champs-Elysees. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Paris.

Tuesday, September 17

DAY 6 – PARIS After an early breakfast at our hotel, we celebrate Mass at the chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on the Rue de Bac, where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Catherine Laboure and gave her instructions to make the Miraculous Medal, the most famous Catholic medal in circulation. The shrine contains the saint’s incorrupt body. We will also see the site where the Blessed Mother famously first appeared on January 28, 1840 to Sister Justine Bisqueyburu of the Daughters of Charity before revealing to her the Green Scapular. We walk around the corner to the Shrine of St. Vincent de Paul, at the Church of St. Lazare, where his body rests and his incorrupt heart is displayed in a reliquary. He was a shining example of love for the poor. Our last stop today will be the famous Notre Dame cathedral, the most enduring symbol of the French capital, on the Ile de la Cité. Time permitting, we continue to Sainte-Chapelle, the royal chapel, constructed in a Gothic style. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Paris.

Wednesday, September 18

DAY 7 –PARIS/PONTMAIN Today pilgrims have the option of a free day in Paris or (for an additional fee) a guided day trip to Pontmain, site of a major Vatican-validated apparition of Our Lady of Hope on a farm to four students at the nearby convent school on January 17, 1871. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Paris.

Thursday, September 19

DAY 8 – BRUSSELS After breakfast, we will head towards Belgium, but before crossing the border, we stop in Douai at the Church of Saint Amato, where on Easter day in 1254, a Eucharistic miracle took place! After breakfast, we will head into French-speaking Belgium, for the final leg of our pilgrimage where we will see two of the only four Vatican recognized 20th century Marian apparitions in the world. First we travel to Beauraing, where she appeared 33 times starting in 1932 as the “Virgin of the Golden Heart” to 5 children aged 9 to 15. The Mother of God called for prayer for the conversion of sinners. We continue to Banneux, where “Our Lady of the Poor” is the sobriquet given to the apparition of the Virgin Mary to 11-year old Mariette Beco in a garden behind the family's cottage. The Virgin Mary here promised to intercede for the poor, the sick and the suffering. We visit the sacred spring, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Friday, September 20

DAY 9 – RETURN USA This morning we will visit St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral, the site of a verified Eucharistic Miracle in 1370. The Cathedral contains artistic testimonies in the form of stained glass that tells the story. We will celebrate our final Mass here as we conclude our extraordinary pilgrimage.  Time permitting we will have a short driving tour of Brussels as we head to the airport and board our flight back to the U.S. via Paris arriving later today. Our memories of our spectacular pilgrimage will stay with us forever.
